Dub B Like That Girl is a Suncone remix.
Drum samples from the Muldoon's donor track "Don't Be Like That Girl" are processed to keep the beat tight and hard but are set free in just the right places to hint that a stick smacked a skin. The vocal drop halfway through is a big moment. It’s raw, and Gerry Mullen sounds like he means it in this mix. The vocal shifts from major to minor and back against swelling and distorting synth chords. A saturated and ripped bass line pushes the groove. 130 bpm, moody and driving.
